- ➤ Wyoming’s new Search and Rescue and Rodeo specialty plates became available Jan. 1; early auctions will sell limited low and special-number plates with fees and donations supporting local rescue operations and rodeo programs authorized by the Legislature. Laramie Live

- ➤ Wyoming officials approved $205 million in federal funding for rural healthcare expansion. The funds, announced by U.S. Sen. John Barrasso and set for fiscal year 2026, will help stabilize hospitals + support providers. Laramie Live
