- ➤ City crews removed over six tons of trash from a city-owned lot near truck stops in northwest Laramie, completing a large-scale cleanup (a project to improve the public land). Laramie Boomerang
- ➤ Thursday, the Joint Appropriations Committee voted to protect the WORTH Institute (which supports local tourism) and a program at the High Bay Research Center (focusing on oil and gas technology) from a proposed $40 million cut in the university’s state-money block grant; the draft budget will be finalized in March.
