The State of Wyoming’s Economic Analysis Division released Wyoming Insight for January, showing national natural gas prices climb sharply to $7.65 per MMBtu compared to December while local prices averaged $3.53 and remained near last year’s levels.

The report also noted steady oil prices and modest rig counts.
