- ➤ The Medicine Bow National Forest will conduct prescribed fire operations this spring on the Pole Mountain unit pending required approvals — a move to improve forest health in Albany County. Laramie Boomerang
- ➤ A windstorm moved through the region yesterday with gusts up to 109 mph that damaged roofs, overturned trucks and uprooted trees near Laramie+ officials said high winds kept truckers off roads and forced highway closures. The storm is expected to ease by tomorrow. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ Starting this summer, a new law will limit school districts to charging only their actual cost for facilities rentals to non-school sports + organizations statewide. Laramie Boomerang
- ➤ Wyoming National Guard released a 470-page book titled Cowboy Soldiers that details the Guard’s history from its state militia roots to modern deployments — including honoring 1st Lt.
