The Laramie Fire Department will join the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation for Light the Night on May 4 to honor America's fallen fire heroes.
Landmarks and homes will light up red from April 27 through May 4 — a tribute to remember their sacrifice.
Registration is now open for the Albany County First Responder Youth Camp.
Youth ages 8 to 18 can register on a first come first served basis to learn about first responder work from June 23rd to June 26th—space is limited to 100 students.

Average gas prices in Wyoming fell 2.7 cents per gallon last week to $3.11/g today—GasBuddy reported prices were 6.3 cents higher than one month ago and 19.5 cents lower than last year.
The national average also dropped 3.4 cents per gallon to $3.10/g.
🌲 Environment
Today, a surge of solar energy is expected to light up Wyoming’s night sky with the Northern Lights — NOAA’s forecasts show that strong solar activity gives southern Wyoming the best chance for a clear view.
Residents are advised to step outside around midnight — the time when conditions will be optimal to see the aurora.
