- ➤ BWXT announced at the Next Frontier Energy Summit in Laramie that its $500 million nuclear fuel plant in Gillette has secured California-based Kairos Power as its first customer; the plant will break ground in 2028, start with 200 employees + may boost local business as state contracts finalize. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Between Monday and Wednesday, southeast Wyoming saw snowfall making early May record snowier than last winter, with Cheyenne recording 8.9 inches (about 1.1 inch water) and Laramie County getting around 1 inch.
