CRIME NEWS

  • Laramie County Sheriff's Office added Sergio Taylor and Ann Wallace to its 10 most wanted fugitives list — anyone with tips is urged to call 307-637-6525.  Laramie Live
  • Roy Arthur Moates, 59, a longtime Big Piney resident, was identified by the Laramie County Coroner’s Office after construction workers found his skeletal remains in a field off Terry Ranch Road near Cheyenne last October (the cause of death is undetermined and foul play is not suspected).  Cowboy State Daily

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Meteorologist Don Day said that a funnel-shaped cloud seen during thunderstorms may be a harmless scud cloud (a break-off from a larger storm) rather than a tornado because it lacks organized rotation. He added that although Wyoming's dry air makes scud clouds uncommon, upcoming systems may bring heavy rain, strong winds and even snow to the region.  Cowboy State Daily
