EDUCATION NEWS

  • An outdoor school program is coming to Albany County to engage students in hands-on learning by exploring nature. The program uses a bingo game format where participants check off items like a spider during their outdoor activities.  Laramie Boomerang

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • City Council will hold a work session and special meeting on Monday May 19, 2025 at 6:00 pm with options to join in-person, on Zoom, via Cable Channel 191, or on YouTube. The meeting agenda will be available on Friday afternoon and further details can be confirmed by calling (307) 721-5220.  City of Laramie
  • Wyoming's incoming Supreme Court justice Bridget Hill will be recused from roughly half the cases for six to nine months due to past involvement with state appeals, and local judges will step in for those matters—she will still work on cases that do not involve her previous role as Attorney General.  Cowboy State Daily
  • Wyoming residents who meet the requirements will be able to get a refund on last year’s property taxes if they prove they have lived in the state for at least 5 years and occupied their home for 9 months.
