- ➤ A federal judge dismissed for a second time the lawsuit of former Laramie High School student Grace Smith — who claimed the school mask rule was unconstitutional after her arrest for trespassing — ruling that her claims, including those of retaliation and due process violations, were without merit. The decision marks the final court rejection of her six claims from the 2021 mask mandate incident. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ Wyoming Gov Mark Gordon and Rep Harriet Hageman praised a unanimous Supreme Court ruling that limits federal environmental reviews to a project’s immediate impacts — a decision they say will reduce delays in major infrastructure projects. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ Motorists in Cheyenne, Laramie, and Albany counties will face traffic delays this summer as WYDOT and Simon Construction crews work on a pavement patching job on Highway 212/College Drive near Laramie County Community College and on U.S. Highway 287 south of Laramie, with the project expected to finish by the end of October. A second project will begin on June 2 for concrete pavement replacement at the intersection of Highway 212/College Drive and 12th Street, with detours and a temporary traffic signal planned — additional work on I-25 Missile Drive is also coming.
