  • A woman aged 40 from Cheyenne was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for fentanyl trafficking as detectives tracked her to Colorado and Laramie County—search warrants seized fentanyl and drug paraphernalia from her then boyfriend's vehicle and shared hotel room.  Laramie Live

  • Freedom Has a Birthday, presented by Rocky Mountain Power, will be held on July 4th at Washington Park with events beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Edgar J. Lewis Band Shell and continuing with performances by the Laramie Municipal Band, Danno, Altered Image Blues Band, Box of Rocks and Gem City Drifters + acts on both the main and backstop stages.  City of Laramie

  • GasBuddy's survey of 494 stations shows that average gasoline prices in Wyoming fell 4.5 cents per gallon last week, dropping to $3.03 per gallon yesterday - 9.3 cents lower than a month ago and 25.1 cents lower than a year ago. The national average fell 1.8 cents to $3.07 today as refineries ramp up output amid steady summer trends.  Laramie Live

  • On June 6, 2025, the August Egg Company recalled contaminated eggs sold in Wyoming and other states after public health officials linked them to a Salmonella outbreak—consumers with these eggs are advised to throw them away or return them to the store.  Laramie Live
  • A study by Seniorly shows Wyoming ranks 12th for a dangerous aging in place environment due to no high-rated home health agencies, high senior fatal crash rates, and low smart home adoption—findings based on data from the CDC, CMS, Census Bureau, and HUD. The research comes as 4.2 million Americans turn 65 this year and nearly 75% plan to remain at home.  Laramie Live
