- ➤ The City of Laramie is helping the Wyoming Department of Agriculture monitor for a Spongy Moth infestation by installing eight traps in select city parks and at Greenhill Cemetery from late June through mid-August. The traps use a pheromone lure and glue board without pesticides and offer early detection to prevent invasive spread. County 5

- ➤ Carbon County Sheriff Alex Bakken left a meeting in Saratoga Monday night when he received an alert about three lost 17-year-old hikers on Medicine Bow Peak about 35 miles from Laramie + he and volunteer search and rescue member Max Leiseth climbed the mountain and reached the teens around 10:30 p.m., finding them huddled together and providing spare jackets and water.
