The Downtown Laramie Farmers Market is back for the season—expanding its offerings with new vendor partnerships and initiatives to fight food insecurity.

Market organizers say the event will provide fresh produce and additional resources to support local residents.

Shelby Holder of Kemmerer set a new Wyoming record when he caught a 14-pound, 15.2-ounce tiger trout on June 6 in the Hams Fork River between Viva Naughton and Kemmerer City Reservoir.

The fish measured 31.2 inches long (previous record: 12.77 pounds) and Holder used a 1-weight fly rod to land it before planning to have it mounted.
