- ➤ Ten people, including five children, were rescued after a boat capsized on Lake Hattie Sunday evening near Laramie when deputies, Laramie Fire and Big Laramie Volunteer Fire departments responded at 6:33 p.m.—rescuers pulled groups from water between 50 and 75 yards out amid strong winds and treated all for signs of exhaustion and hypothermia. - ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming increased by 5.2 cents per gallon in the past week, rising to an average of $3.12 today as conflicts between Israel and Iran drove oil prices higher according to GasBuddy’s survey of 494 stations. - ➤ The City of Laramie Mosquito Control will spray Dibrom from 6:30 p.m. on Thursday June 26th in three rural areas near the city (backup dates are Friday the 27th or Saturday the 28th if weather delays) to control nuisance and vector mosquitoes that can spread West Nile virus.
