- ➤ Starting July 5, Laramie will host its annual Jubilee Days through July 13 with parades, street dances, a rodeo and food festivals celebrating Wyoming history — drawing both local residents and visitors. City staff from Parks and Recreation, Solid Waste, Fire Department and police are coordinating permits, safety and logistics to ensure the festivities run smoothly. County 5

- ➤ Austin Kissell, an elk hunter from Laporte, was locked in on Boswell Road during a snowstorm when a gate at Ox Yoke Ranch blocked his exit and almost damaged his truck and camper — he said that officials, including the Forest Service and Albany County, must soon settle who controls the road so that hunters and others can safely use it.
