A 40-year-old man died in a traffic accident near Mountain View when his Toyota FJ Cruiser hit a signpost on Wyoming 410 at 4:45 p.m. on July 9—he was not wearing his seat belt and speed plus fatigue may have contributed to the crash.

Cheyenne Frontier Days parade goers will face new street closures + vehicle barriers designed to block unauthorized access, with closures starting at 8 a.m. and lasting about three hours.

Local officials and event partners have coordinated these changes to enhance parade safety.
