ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 40-year-old man died in a traffic accident near Mountain View when his Toyota FJ Cruiser hit a signpost on Wyoming 410 at 4:45 p.m. on July 9—he was not wearing his seat belt and speed plus fatigue may have contributed to the crash.  Laramie Live

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Cheyenne Frontier Days parade goers will face new street closures + vehicle barriers designed to block unauthorized access, with closures starting at 8 a.m. and lasting about three hours. Local officials and event partners have coordinated these changes to enhance parade safety.  Laramie Live
  • On Thursday, Gov. Mark Gordon defended his all-of-the-above energy plan during his interview on the Cowboy State Daily Show and noted that Wyoming sends coal to 22 states after the Oakland Bulk and Oversized Terminal won a court case that may boost exports. Sec. of State Chuck Gray said the state should open more West Coast export terminals and dismissed wind and solar projects as a woke clown show—showing a deep split in Wyoming’s energy strategy.  Cowboy State Daily
