Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 16th of July.
Good morning, Laramie.
🏛️ Government
The House Natural Resources Committee moved a bill by U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman that would remove Yellowstone-area grizzly bears from the Endangered Species Act list—a vote was 20 to 19 along party lines.
The bill will go to the House floor and says the grizzly count has reached about 1,100 and may let states run hunts—critics say it stops courts from reviewing the rule and does not include enough Native consultation.
