- ➤ Wyoming senators said they are tired of delays in confirming Brian Nesvik as chief of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service — his appointment is linked to plans to remove federal protection for grizzly bears. Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis said they may skip the Senate’s August break to vote on his nomination and support the delisting effort. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ State lawmakers are debating a proposal to allow companies to run spent fuel sites along with new small nuclear reactors after a U.S. Supreme Court ruling limited state challenges to permits. The Minerals, Business and Economic Development Committee is split and will meet Tuesday to decide if the law can bring jobs or cause safety risks. Cowboy State Daily
