- ➤ City of Laramie Mosquito Control will spray Dibrom on Monday, July 28th at 6:30 p.m. in three rural areas to control nuisance and vector mosquitoes — backup dates on Tuesday the 29th or Wednesday the 30th apply if weather delays the spraying. The treatment aims to reduce the risk of West Nile virus as higher mosquito counts in rural areas may spread into the city. County 5

- ➤ Crews from WYDOT and S&S Builders, LLC will begin bridge rehabilitation work on WYO 130 near Centennial at mile marker 26.76 on Monday, July 28, weather permitting. The project will include deck repairs, new approach slabs and an epoxy overlay — lane closures and a 12ft width restriction will cause delays, and work is expected to finish this fall. County 5
- ➤ The U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution declaring July 26 the National Day of the American Cowboy to align with Cheyenne Frontier Days. Senators Barrasso and Lummis said Wyoming will honor cowboy values (honesty, hard work, and integrity) as the state celebrates traditions of the American West. Laramie Live
- ➤ Laramie County Sheriff's Office said its deputies will limit the use of a new state law that cancels driver's licenses given to undocumented people—a move that has raised worry about constitutional rights. The office said it wants to ensure the law is applied fairly. Laramie Boomerang
