City of Laramie Mosquito Control will spray Dibrom on Monday, July 28th at 6:30 p.m. in three rural areas to control nuisance and vector mosquitoes — backup dates on Tuesday the 29th or Wednesday the 30th apply if weather delays the spraying.

The treatment aims to reduce the risk of West Nile virus as higher mosquito counts in rural areas may spread into the city.

Crews from WYDOT and S&S Builders, LLC will begin bridge rehabilitation work on WYO 130 near Centennial at mile marker 26.76 on Monday, July 28, weather permitting.

The project will include deck repairs, new approach slabs and an epoxy overlay — lane closures and a 12ft width restriction will cause delays, and work is expected to finish this fall.
