- ➤ The Wyoming Insight report for July showed mixed signals for the economy as natural gas prices increased to $3.20 per MMBtu at Henry Hub while oil rigs fell to their lowest count since 2021 & mining tax collections dropped for the fifteenth month. Employment grew by 1.6% in June and retail trade collections increased by 5.8% compared to last year, underscoring ongoing shifts in state economic indicators. Laramie Live
- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming dropped to $3.00 a gallon today, down 34 cents from last year as lower oil prices eased costs. GasBuddy surveyed 494 stations and reported an average decline of 1.6 cents per gallon. Laramie Live

- ➤ Stage 1 fire restrictions are in effect immediately in parts of Medicine Bow National Forest due to quickly drying fuel and risky fire weather — the rules ban open fires, portable wood-burning pits, and smoking except in approved areas.
