- ➤ On August 5, Laramie City Council voted to pause stormwater fee collections by passing Resolution 2025-65—customers who paid the July fee will receive a refund automatically—no further action is required. City of Laramie
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Ivinson Memorial Hospital and the city of Laramie are nearly ready to launch an interfacility transfer service for emergency responses—this program will connect facilities to speed up patient care during emergencies. Laramie Boomerang
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The University of Wyoming spent $300,000 to become a branding partner with the Bills—its UW banner appeared during Saturday's preseason game when the team neared the Giants' 20-yard line. University officials will promote UW at the Nov. 16 game with cobranded merchandise—an effort aimed at boosting student recruitment from western New York thanks to famous alum Josh Allen.
