- ➤ Spanish energy giant Repsol plans to build 170 wind turbines on 50,000 acres near Horse Creek and ranchers are divided over the project—some fear harm to wildlife and local views while others expect job gains and increased revenue, with construction set to begin in 2027 and finish in November. - ➤ Today, the EPA proposed to approve Wyoming’s coal combustion residuals program application so the state can manage coal waste in impoundments and landfills.
