  • Columnist Bill Sniffin wrote about the movie 'Taking Chance' which tells the story of Chance Phelps, a young marine from Dubois who died in Iraq in 2004. Kevin Bacon stars as Lt. Col. ECONOMY NEWS

  • Casper/Natrona County International Airport, serving only one carrier to Denver, is expected to exceed 100,000 passengers by year-end—if more locals choose to fly instead of drive. Airport Director Glenn Januska said airfares are dropping, and talks with other airlines may bring extra routes—boosting central Wyoming's air service prospects.  Cowboy State Daily
  • Gas prices in Wyoming today average $2.99 per gallon—down nearly 10 cents from last month—with some stations offering fuel as low as $2.42 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.  Laramie Live

  • Laramie City offices moved temporarily when City Hall and its annex began renovation—some relocated to the Boomerang building while Finance and Administrative Services moved to the North Campus.
