- ➤ A Judiciary Committee in Cheyenne met on October 13 and passed a bill draft that would let parents sue libraries and public officials if children are exposed to obscene material in school and county libraries—lawmakers plan to bring it to the Legislature in January. Instructional Assistant, ABE (Laramie Campus)
The ABE Instructional Assistant is a part-time position, including days and evenings, responsible for providing high-quality assistance, customer service, and instructional and clerical support services to students, faculty, the coordinator, and other personnel including assisting students with math, language, and basic computer skills. Duties also include new student intake, data entry, scheduling, administering, monitoring, preparing test materials, ensuring proper environment, providing instructions, regulating all examinations, processing scores, reporting results, maintaining statistical information, and maintaining security including keeping test materials secure and confidential prior to, during, and after each test session.
