ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming dropped nearly 10 cents this week, averaging $2.90 per gallon today — some stations offered prices as low as $2.47. Prices remain lower than a month ago and a year ago as rising oil production helps keep the drop steady. Laramie Live
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wyoming began taxing electric vehicle charging stations on Oct. 1 and a pro-EV group is asking the Department of Transportation to pause the fee so more stakeholders can provide input. The group says the tax adds triple charges to EV drivers and may slow the rollout of critical charging infrastructure. Cowboy State Daily

Instructional Assistant, ABE (Laramie Campus)
The ABE Instructional Assistant is a part-time position, including days and evenings, responsible for providing high-quality assistance, customer service, and instructional and clerical support services to students, faculty, the coordinator, and other personnel including assisting students with math, language, and basic computer skills. Duties also include new student intake, data entry, scheduling, administering, monitoring, preparing test materials, ensuring proper environment, providing instructions, regulating all examinations, processing scores, reporting results, maintaining statistical information, and maintaining security including keeping test materials secure and confidential prior to, during, and after each test session.
