A new LendingTree analysis shows Wyoming buyers choose used cars averaging 6.2 years old—tying for the third oldest in the nation—with loan amounts dropping from about $36,000 for newer models to nearly $13,000 for older vehicles.

The study warns that lower upfront savings may be offset by higher insurance and repair costs—factors that could affect overall affordability.

Law enforcement teams from Wyoming and Colorado will carry out a joint impaired driving operation before, during, and after the Border War game scheduled Saturday, October 25 at 5:30 p.m. in Laramie to protect over 32,000 fans as they move to and from War Memorial Stadium—many agencies are involved to ensure roads remain safe.
