- ➤ In the early 1900s, Wyoming newspapers reported a headless ghost near a Cheyenne steam laundry that made young women take a long detour to work and a haunted Saratoga home where strange thumps frightened residents—later in Laramie, a Literary Club moved meetings after a ghost resembling a late club president disrupted its gathering, with accounts later explained as misinterpreted events. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ After nearly ten years of work, the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources ended the Wyoming CarbonSAFE Project — it was led by the Center for Economic Geology Research. The project showed progress in making carbon storage safer. Laramie Boomerang
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Kai Montoya is a 2-year-old who had heart surgery as an infant and is fed mostly through a tube, so he was delighted to join a local Halloween event that offered non-food treats. Join us at Optimist Park/Greenbelt for a 5K or 1 mile run on Thanksgiving morning. Registration opens at 7:30AM with the 1 miler starting at 8:30 and the 5K at 9:00AM.
