- ➤ The Laramie Beautification Committee has hired Tough Guys to install programmable Haven lights on Third Street to boost downtown ambience and safety. Tough Guys will start measurements on November 12 and install lights in phases through early and mid December so the lights turn on by Christmas. County 5
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ For the first time in Wyoming history, earnings from the state’s investment portfolio exceeded revenue from minerals & signaled a shift from long-standing reliance on mineral income. This new financial trend may affect how state budgets are planned in the future. Laramie Boomerang

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ This November, the Wyoming Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association offers support groups—plus educational programs and caregiving consultations—to help family members care for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and dementia. 8 AM – 2 PM — Indian Paintbrush Elementary School — Cost info not specified — Sprint, run, jog, or walk down this fast downhill mile course before Thanksgiving.

Join us at Optimist Park/Greenbelt for a 5K or 1 mile run on Thanksgiving morning. Registration opens at 7:30AM with the 1 miler starting at 8:30 and the 5K at 9:00AM.
