Wyoming has announced it submitted its application to CMS for the Rural Health Transformation Program—designed to improve rural hospitals, expand health insurance, and boost the healthcare workforce based on community input.
The state’s plan will use these funds over five years, and CMS is expected to name awardees by December 31.

When enrollment opened Saturday on the Affordable Care Act marketplace, roughly 42,000 Wyoming residents faced higher prices + fewer resources as they secured their health insurance coverage.
