ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Japan wants Wyoming’s low–carbon natural gas, and a new export terminal in Baja California — built by Sempra — is more than 95% complete for shipments set to begin in spring. Gov. Mark Gordon said Japan sees Wyoming gas as a way to lower emissions and cut its trade deficit. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ Today, the Vedauwoo Volunteer Fire Department released public information that $78,000 in donor funds raised by the Auxiliary have been withheld by unresponsive nonprofit leadership — and Christmas tree sales under that name will not support essential fire safety needs. The department said repeated outreach since April has not elicited any response. County 5
- ➤ The Albany County Hospital District Board of Trustees met in a special session to plan a new nursing home, and they said the facility will help meet local care needs. Laramie Boomerang
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Wyoming health officials have proposed BearCare—a state-funded catastrophic health plan to cover rare emergencies like bear attacks and bus collisions. The plan was submitted to CMS as part of the rural health transformation program and may offer an alternative to ACA coverage; officials expect feedback before Dec. 31. Cowboy State Daily
