- ➤ A new all-ages pinball arcade will open downtown as a community hub where neighbors can reconnect. The founders say one salvaged pinball machine sparked the idea for a welcoming local space. Laramie Boomerang
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Strong winds toppled dozens of semitrucks and closed parts of I-25 and I-80 near Laramie today, including at the dangerous spot at Cooper Cove, and officials advise drivers with vehicles under 60,000 pounds to avoid the highways until conditions improve. Laramie Live
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ In November, Wyoming saw natural gas prices rise and oil prices drop as drilling activity slowed, with West Texas Intermediate crude falling 14% compared to last year. Tax collections dipped while retail trade posted a small gain, according to the Wyoming Economic Analysis Division’s report. Laramie Live

- ➤ Albany County School District 1 is moving forward on a major facilities overhaul — its largest realignment in years — to update school buildings. The project aims to enhance learning environments for students. Laramie Boomerang

- ➤ Governor Mark Gordon hosted the annual Gold Star and Families of the Fallen Christmas Tree Ornament Ceremony on Dec. 9, where families honored their loved ones by placing ornaments on a festive tree (each ornament telling a story of service) in a local gathering. Laramie Live
