- ➤ Padmalakshmi Ramesh, a Laramie High graduate, has been named a 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Her achievement reflects years of hard work in science fairs (and academics). Laramie Boomerang
- ➤ The University of Wyoming Ethics Club selected four nonprofit groups from Albany County as finalists for the spring SparkTank competition, with the contest set to showcase their innovative ideas soon. Laramie Boomerang
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rep. Harriet Hageman and Sens. Cynthia Lummis and John Barrasso repealed the Biden-era Buffalo RMPA that blocked coal leasing in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin (source of 40% of U.S. coal), protecting thousands of jobs. The repeal was signed on Dec. 11, preserving local energy and economic interests. Cowboy State Daily
