The Wyoming Historical Society announced it has ended its county chapters to allow local groups more control by forming independent nonprofit entities—critics say the move undermines a decades-old system and has left many in the historical community feeling disrespected and uncertain about the future.

Today, the Albany County School District 1 Board of Trustees unanimously approved the second reading of Policy 5050 - Firearms on School Property - which sets new rules on firearm possession at schools.
